Wat Domrei, located in Kamakor village, is one of the oldest monasteries in Battambang province. Its pagoda, also known as Wat Svet Chhatra Konchor Chey, is believed to have been built by Mrs. Ung, the great-grandmother of Mr. Katathon Chhum. Ung fell ill after her polygamous marriage and was cured by the Black Prince. She started the construction of the Elephant Pagoda in 1904, but died after the construction. The pagoda features vibrant sculptures at the wall and deceptive windows, with gurus supporting the roof and wooden carvings on the roof. The carpenter responsible for the construction is Kanto in Daun Teav village and Prek Taton and Cheang Soeun in Chamkar Samrong village.
