Kork Beng Temple, found within Wat Prasat Chey Preuk in Kork Beng Village, Kampong Pranak commune, Tbeng Meanchey district, was built between AD 936 and 951 by a commander named Kork, on the orders of King Jayavarman IV. Named after a nearby Beng Tree, the temple originally consisted of laterite and sandstone but now only a few original stones remain. In 1988, the temple was reconstructed using concrete and now stands at 8 meters high and 12 meters square. Central to the temple is a statue of Bodhisattva, serving as the focal point for worship.
