Luong Preah Sdach Korn Heritage Site was the former capital and dates back to the sixteenth century. Despite its age, the site has remained in relatively good condition. King Korn, also known as Sdech Kan or Sdach Korn, established the pagoda and placed a large black gold Buddha statue there. The temple exhibits wide fortifications on its four corners, a remnant of the King’s defenses.
