The Cambodian longest waterfall. Known as the Lbak Khoun waterfall or Preah Nimith Waterfall (ទឹកធ្លាក់ព្រះនិមិត្), this magnificent waterfall/cascade is situated in the Preah Vihear province on the Mekong River, on the boundary between Cambodia and Laos. It is best to visit between November and May when the water is clean, as the rainy season makes the area somewhat “muddy.” The trip from Steung Treng town to the waterfall takes approximately one hour. In addition, some enjoy going to Preah Romkel and taking a boat ride to see the Irrawaddy dolphins.
